We are currently recruiting for an Office Assistant for our facility in Lexington, KY. This position will be 11:00am-7:00pm M-F.

Responsible for assisting the Silver Angels team in handling administrative duties.

Work will be performed primarily indoors at one of our offices or long-term healthcare facilities, throughout all areas, and on carpeted and/or tiled floors. Work will be performed routinely around other co-workers, clients, and guests. Due to the nature of the business, worker may be exposed to occasional slippery floors, object on floors, chemicals, sharp objects, hazardous materials and waste (including human), blood¬ borne pathogens, and communicable diseases, as well as high-stress medical and/or life threatening situations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Meet physical and sensory requirements stated below, and be able to work in the described environment.
• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environment.
• Support and follow direction of the Scheduler, Office Coordinator and Branch Manager.
• Order, sort and distribute uniforms, name badges, etc.
• Compile and distribute celebratory cards (i.e. birthday, anniversary, etc.), as assigned.
• Assist with scheduling and confirming meals, etc, as directed.
• Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist with administrative duties, as directed (includes typing, filing, reports, posting accounts, correspondence, etc.).
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail, as directed.
• Operate copier, office machines, phones, etc., as directed.
• Operate computer, as directed.
• Order supplies, as directed.
• Assist with prep work and participate in marketing activities, job fairs, health fairs, etc.
• Assist with training preparation, recruiting, hiring processes, file maintenance, etc, as directed.
• Assist with tracking & trending as directed.
• Assist with data entry and research as directed.
• Attend in-service education programs in order to meet facility educational requirements.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
• One (1) year of basic clerical experience or six (6) months of directly related experience involving office functions.
• Familiar with all office equipment, such as fax, copier, FedEx machines, etc.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
• Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors
